Where did your nickname come from: “Tall, thin, and from the country—just like a cornstalk.”

What drew you to vintage base ball:  “I stumbled across the league while looking up some statistics on a 19th century player (Deacon White) who had just gotten elected into the Hall of Fame. I decided to join the league because of the rule differences and the sportsmanship that I saw in it.”

What was your favorite moment from 2014: Despite the loss, my favorite moment was getting to play at Engel Stadium. It was an amazing feeling to get to play on the same field that some of the game’s greats played at.”
